Everything, it was just what I wanted. Please do not tell anyone about this hotel, it is a gem. Those reviews concerning no gym facilities know that when they book .. so why complain ? The staff were fantastic, the rooms were lovely and we were given a room upgrade on arival.
The on site resturaunt it amazing with fantastic fresh produce and it is lovely eating there whilst looking out onto the loch.

Mary, the proprietor, contacted me prior to the arrival date and gave me clear directions on how to find the apartment. On arrival Mary was waiting to show me around the property and explain the entry/exit systems, fire alarms etc.

Apartment 208 at By the Bridge was a great place to stay during our short break in Inverness.
Stylish and well appointed, with quality furniture and linens, this one-bedroom apartment was perfectly located with shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The underground car park was easy to find and very convenient.
The pre-arrival information was very clear & helpful and key pick-up was straightforward.

The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.

This was an exceptional apartment, very spacious , modern, luxurious in its decor and furnishings. Extreamly well positioned for the city with wonderful veiws from the balcony over the river. Is everything too general? We were on our honeymoon, traveling all around Scotland and Highland ended up being our favorite. We will be coming back to visit in a few years and will forgo other places next time, just setting up our base camp at the Highland Apartments so many things to see within driving distance, beautiful view, walkability is magnificent, so comfortable. Loved it!

The apartment was amazing! Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings and decor, very comfortable and very relaxing, which is exactly what we were looking for. The complimentary breakfast pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. I felt very safe and secure and would definitely stay here again. -

My husband and i were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived, this continued throughout our week long stay, Avalon is a wonderful place to stay, it is quite central so getting out and about is very easy, and the staff have great knowledge of the area enabling you to make the most out of your holiday. ... o que as pessoas dizem » Thank you very much for taking care of us - The owners were so friendly and helped with information on local restaurants and entertainment.There was a very large selection for breakfast with a great choice for cooked breakfast and fresh coffee. With a side entrance you felt you could come and go without disturbing the owners or other guests ( and no curfew times). The guest house deserves all the plaudids and awards.
