  Tina made myself and my fellow traveller (in a separate room) very welcome and we could have been staying with good, friendly relatives. She prepares a very sound, tasty custom-made breakfast at any of several times one can designate on the supplied slip each day. Tina and her husband were grand hosts and very helpful with tips for the area (inclu... o que as pessoas dizem » ding the very excellent Higginsons Cumberland sausage at Grange-over-Sands). We both came away very satisfied with our stay. - Property is quaint and in a delightful setting, breakfast was very good and tasty, loved the chickens and Drakeshead Labradors and there was lashing of hot water. Tina our host made us very welcome in every way, she couldn't do enough for us. Tina even offered to make a surprise birthday cake for my fiance and it was there in our room when we arrived. This was actually the second cake as the chickens had sneaked into her kitchen and ate the first one!!

  being at Broughton House is like being with family in that you have cate to look after you just like any good mum would when you go home.....and she cannot do enough for you,she is super happy and her cooking is legendary. Absolutely amazing breakfasts with just so much choice and all made by hand even the muesli, which is the best you could ever ... o que as pessoas dizem » taste down to the freshly squeezed orange juice, to the fresh organic chicken eggs to fresh farm bacon n sausage n black pudding.........plates of fre - We liked that we felt at home and our dog was made welcome. The breakfast was great food and loved fact we could say what time we would like to eat Bed really comfy and homemade biscuits and chocolate brownie was added bonus. Cate was clearly a people person, she was slightly eccentric which was endearing ( hope she doesn't mind me saying so ). She worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed, even finding a recipe for hash browns for my husband Will definitely book again
