Gareth was an excellent, charming and affable host.
The room - 4- was very comfortable and tastefully furnished.(the 'detached' en suite was managed very well and we appreciated the robes)
I have a thing about white cotton sheets and towels and Fraoch House gets first prize! Excellent!
My cooked breakfast of smoked salmon, cream chees and bagel was delicious! Just right :-)
My husband went for the full Scottish and he was equally pleased.
All the other usual breakfast fare very well presented

Drinks and food within the hotel were fantastic and delicious.
There is no fitness center on site but they let you use the one at the Crown Plaza Roxburgh.

we stayed at tigerlilly for our second wedding anniversary. we stayd in the junior suit it was a stunning room very comfortable.we had a few drinks in the bar.the bar staff were excellent my hubby loves his whisky and one young irish bar man helped with choosing different ones he hadn't tried before giving the backgrounds of the whiskys ect brilliant service.cant wait to stay again x

The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

The location is outside of the city but the bus stops every 5 mins just outside of the hotel so its ideal and you avoid the heavy parking charges for staying in the centre. Location is perfect. They are installing tram lines in the street but it still has access if you are arriving by car or taxi. Its a short walk to Waverly Station and all main tourist attractions can be reached by foot if you like to walk.
Room was excellent, breakfast was great. Did not try the restaurant at night but menu looked good and fairly priced.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive.
