  We are walking from John o Groats to Lands End and used the West Highland Way as part of the route. Ashbank is right on the West Highland Way and was perfect for us. We received a very warm welcome and were instantly made to feel at home.   All the rooms weren't the same which was really good mad it more individual. The pool was a nice extra and allowed you to relax. The bar/lounge area was very nicely laid out and there were board games you could play in a group.Staff were very polite,helpful & friendly. Reception staff always willing to help.
