Basic, clean, honest. Exactly as described with friendly, helpful staff. Helpful staff very friendly and relaxed but effecient atmosphere. I found the hotel easy to find and central for our needs. The staff werevery helpful and changed accomodation to suit our needs my mother iselderly and would have had difficulty climbing staish. The rooms werebasic but had the facilities of other hotels We have stayed in. We foundthey met out needs without the flowers.

But no complaints as the bed was comfortable, no traffic noise the shower worked well and the food was good!. Your staff were extremely helpful and polite they made the stay apleasure nothing was too much trouble for them. Next to M74/M6. Very good place for a one off night during a long trip.Alison the night manager was a cracker and kept the pints flowing ! ;). Price and location ( good for m74/m6). It had everything that was needed for an overnight stay. Amenities;restaurant,shop,bar.Friendly staff. Cheap, clean, handy for the motorway. Quiet, cleanliness. It was comfortable and adequate - (thank-you). I feel with a little extra customer care it could become super - scope for an ambitious manager here.Easy to find and easy parking. Excellent breakfast. There is no sign, and though the standard of hotel is reflected in theprice there was no indication that it is a 'truckers' hotel. Bedside lamp was covered in dust. On way up found we were expected on wrong day which gave bad impression. On way down found wastepaper basket was full, soap lying in basin, towel crumpled on bed (hoped it was clean). Just now I wouldn't recommend it but feel it has great potential with just that little bit of extra care and concern from management. Water in shower very hot or very cold.no record of booking, but soon sorted. Difficult to find, probably our fault!! Given a room that had been occupied by smokers. Noise from other guests walking down the corridors, the walls seemed very thin, as the guests were not particularly loud. We were not prepared for the 'truck stop' motel set up. Althoughcleanish, there was dirt in all corners and in draws . the rooms werejust concrete slab walls and roof/floor. If we had known this weprobably would not have stopped there despite the very reasonable price.But this is not the fault of the management of the hotel - the advertneeds a title of 'very basic and just a bed for the night. Poor reception on TV. There was no sign for the Night Owl (onlt NT) so the hotel was very difficult to find when this was pointed out to the receptionist his only comment was "Yes, confusing isn't it?". A bit difficult to find. Wide window ledge where we put a jacket had not been dusted for a very long time. Not really a hotel more of a stop over for truck drivers. It was a hotel used by truckers for overnight stays.
