The beaches at Whitstable and Herne Bay are 10-minute drive, whilst Margate and the ferry at Ramsgate are just 20 miles away. The Eurotunnel is 13 miles from Anne’s House.

Room was large and quite comfortable. Full english breakfast was generous and got you going early. The walk into Canterbury (and restaurants) was short and the walk to the train station was just 10 minutes -- we pulled our bags with no problem. Very cheerful proprietors. Internet worked well.
The bedroom was large, comfortable and clean with a pleasant outlook over the rear garden. The breakfast was excellent setting us up for the day. The parking was excellent and driving in the city is dreadful.todos opiniões »

It is a little way from the centre and the walk was a problem for people approaching 80. Changes to the bus route resulted in the bus going on a circular route in one direction only ending at the bus station at the furthest point in the city. Originally it would have passed the nearest entry point to the city when going in the reverse direction.
Parking could be challenging when B&B fully booked.
We would choose a larger room next time.
