The Lodge At Meyrick Park Guest House - Fotos
O que as pessoas dizem
Excellent location - as it is only a short 10 minutes walk into Bournemouth. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and the fitness and spa facilities are fantastic. I made use of the fitness room, swimming pool, poolside jacuzzi, steam room and sauna on each of the days my partner and I stayed at the Meyrick Park Lodge.
I would definitely recommend this hotel with its brilliant facilities to my family and friends. todos opiniões »
Excellent Spa, 20-25m pool, gym looked great, and the sauna and steam rooms, changing/showers were clean and modern. Very friendly and helpful staff. A good bar and decent breakfast. We did not play golf but everyone we spoke to had enjoyed the course. Parking was easy. We did not shower in the room as the Spa was so much easier and better equipped. Linen and bedding were all clean and comfortable.
We just stayed one night and found
the accomodation very clean and comfortable and the staff nice and friendly. Great leisure facilities, good food in the restaurant and short 10 min. walk to town centre. Unfortunately my husband did not get to try out the golf course, but we would come again if the price was right.
we arrived late and stayed overnight to catch an early ferry. We didn't use the spa/ pool this time but will come again and spend more time. The location of the pavilion which houses the rooms at the edge of the golf course is stunning, the rooms are clean and very quiet, and the staff are friendly and very helpful.
Everything was just exceeded my expectations given I paid £49 for a Saturday night stay over half term. Staff were professional and friendly, facilities were so clean and comprehensive. For someone who never writes a review, this just proves how much I loved it. Will definately go back again.
the location was excellent a short walk into the town center but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet.the staff were really friendly and helpful writing out directions for us into town. the spa facilities were brilliant and the cafe was handy and food reasonable and very nice.
Great location for where our meeting was and very close to centre in a quiet setting. The room was well heated on a very cold night and the value for money was unbeatable for the high quality of room and I would like to go back some time as a leisure visitor.
Nice grounds, nice breakfast, excellent value for money. Probably the best I've stayed at in the price bracket that I paid (£35) lots of brilliant gym/sauna and swimming facilities and complimentary access when staying. I'd stay again if the need arose.
The room lacked nothing in comfort, cleanliness, facilities and tranquility. I would certainly stay here again. Meals are excellent, and served in a relaxing environment. A little tricky to find first time, but the good side of that is no traffic noise!.
Having stayed here before, my thinking remained the same, very
friendly, reasonably quiet and a great place to stay. If you find a
reason to moan then stay somewhere else and give them bad feedback.
Here, just lay back and enjoy your stay!.
Stayed here for a second time with my daughter. Very comfortable room. The facilities are very good.... swimming pool etc. Had an evening meal which was well priced with a good choice of dishes, did not have breakfast.
The Lodge itself was beautiful, clean, relaxing and very enjoyable , rooms were lovely, a good good size and clean, they have really good facilities
close to bournemouth centre
thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
I liked the room, it was very clean and comfortable. Easy to park. It was dark when we arrived and dark when we left so could not comment on surroundings. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The price was brilliant as were the gym and pool facilities. Lovely location in the woods but only a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Bed was huge and room was nicely decorated. A gem at the price.
We stayed last week 14-18 Oct, we had a super time, loved the spa, staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast super, food in the evening very good value for money, will definitely stop again.
Great location
Relaxing spa
Fantastic treatment facilities
Friendly helpful staff
Comfortable beds
Great breakfast
Bar had huge choice of drinks and food
Nice little terrace in the bar/ cafe.
The Spa was exceptional and the room location (No15 when we found it)
Was good as I am a Wheelchair user and We could park the car right outside. The meal we had in the Bar was tasty.
Nice and cozy friendly staff, good food breakfast excellent. Reasonably
priced considering its a hotel.overall a very pleasant experience and
already recommended to our friends.
what can I say great location 5 minute stroll into Bournemouth , great rooms , really clean , great value and if you want to use the gym or pool or even play golf its all there.
Very large and comfortable room and great leisure facilities & bar menu, all the staff were very polite and helpful, we had a great time and will return in the near future.
The spa facilities including changing rooms & showers
Bedroom size
Quiet location, but still only 10 minute walk to town & beach
Lots of parking
Staff were helpful.
the pool was delightful, staff were very nice welcoming and friendly. the bedroom was perfect and all came at an great value would definitely stay again and again :).
Online booking was easy, able to book a reduced price stay, which helped
with the budget. Reception staff courteous and informative, lodge well
decorated and clean.
the staff were excellent very helpful to us as we had my disabled father with us. the food was great but at times was hit and miss would recommend the breakfast.
the lodge was easy to find , and only a ten min walk to the town centre. the room was very clean and spacious . the bed was huge and very comfortable. perfect.
Very friendly, nice evening meal for this club type venue.
Value for money meals at both evening and breakfast.
Overall good value and clean.
Nice setting just out of the central city, easy walk into town. The gym facilities were also excellent, with a huge bed and good sized room.
Love the lodge at meyrick, for its location, nice views and very very comfy beds. Hayley is fantastic and an absolute asset to the park.
The staff were excellent, the room was value for money and the added bonus was use of the swimming pool/sauna/steam room and jacuzzi.
Only stayed 1night due to a bereavement. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Would like to come again in happier circumstances.
Staff are friendly, amazing gym and swimming pool. Easy to walk into town and rooms are basic but comfy. Really recommend!.
The staff were great when we said we were going to be late as we were
travelling from Liverpool. Really nice and polite.
the facilities were excellent
the room was fantastic - brilliant value
Used the restaurant - nice and great value again.
excellent room with two aspects overlooking the golf course. something for both of us ,second visit superb as usual.
The bedroom; the park; the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi; easy to
park cars; close to the city (10 min by walk).
Attractive grounds, excellent facilities at the club. Easy access to the town centre. Friendly staff, super value.
The pool and steam room were great and open till 9.30pm. Cafe had good selection of food and reasonable pricing.
The size of the twin room was great, as was the size of the bathroom. The décor was tasteful and comfortable.
free parking onsight
close to town
free use of gym/pool/sauna/steam room and jacuzzi
clean and comfortable.
great value for money
free gym and swimming facilities
close to the town but in a peacefull enviorment.
I liked the room that we stayed in rather a lot as it was very comfortable and relaxing and clean.
The staff were very welcoming and the gym facilities were fantastic. Also the breakfast was lovely.
the environment among pine trees, the pool, the spacious room in the lodge,
the receptionist Emma.
views lovely across the golf course. Peaceful yet had good access to the town. Good facilities.
I loved the spa excellent sauna steam room and jacuzzi. My Husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it .
The beds were most comfortable and the pillows left me wanting to get some when I got home!.
Very comfy bed!! All areas clean. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Location excellent.
Excellent value, close to town, spacious room. Bar and catering good. Quiet location.
It has a very relaxed atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
the room was modern and clean the free leisure facilities were a excellent bonus.
The Lodge rooms are a bit tired, the flooring is a hessian matting and stained in places, the flooring in the bathroom is a rough stone. The bed in Room 10 needs the mattress turning to stop your feet being higher than your head. Never a good combination.
As we arrived in the evening we found it very difficult to find the place. Why not have more signs "Meyrick Park Golf"? And take down the signs at the old entrance, it is so confusing - you think at last you found the place only to end up at the Rugby club.
Another point I would like to make is the noise from the road, especially in the summer
with a window open.
nothing!!!.
Perhaps the apparent lack of guaranteed parking although I didnt have any problems myself.
nothing would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't have children as spa does not accommodate them at all.
Signage to reception and actual entrance could be better especially arriving in dark. Being able to get refreshments after 9 on a sunday would also be more 21st century.
My door was very stiff to lock properly. But this is minor.
I suggest a sign be placed on the main door giving directions to reception, which is a minute's walk away. Just a small point, but it would be so helpful.
Leaving.
Sadly dogs not allowed.
no bar to have a late drink after 9-30pm Can be a little noisy from around 6.00am as staff arrive and early golfers/keep fitters arrive the parking you have to park away from the lodge as only a few places.
Trying to find it. I think more signage if called for. If someone following me hadn't disappeared in the hedge I would never have found it!.
nothing to dislike.
The TV was very small, and ITV did not work well. The parking could be a problem outside the lodge with golf ears preferring to use this car park rather than the main one to the rear of the spa, but no big issue.
Only negative was the jacuzzi wasn't working the day we used the spa but this was no problem!.
The staff did not seem to know where the room was that we were booked into.
The doorway in the first room we were offered had a high step.
Parking a bit hit and miss. Bathroom in room 13 could do with updating.
The lodge was very tricky to find as the signs were very small, but apart from that the lodge was a great find.
Hill leading up to the lodge
Room could have been a little cleaner
Service at breakfast a little haphazard!.
Limited parking by the lodge, though I understand the main car-park is
cctv covered.
the lodge was not what we were expecting we thought it was a hotel with spa and golf but it was a health centre and golf course first hotel second.the noise from the traffic was very loud and kept me awake and woke me early.did not like having breakfast in middle of busy bar and not be served in a proper dining room.i would only recommend the lodge if you were very health conscious or golf mad cos at times conversation was very loud.
Very busy sports venue that had limiting parking close to the lodge.
Bit stingy on tea and coffee, only 2 sachets of each.
Anna was reluctant to move us when we were given a roof room with no space for a stand up shower only a bath which is not what we expected. However we were eventually moved to a lower ground floor room which was ok but no hair dryer in the room and there were used towels left hanging up in the bathroom. Not our best stay at Meyrick so far.
Only full fat milk in the room. I normally drink skimmed so would be
nice to have semi-skimmed. Otherwise it was perfect!.
not great for my mum - she is in her 80s and struggles with stairs, but they did their best and changed her room - her room was nowhere near as nice as mine, I got the impression they were trying not to use the room...
broadband not great.
The bathroom isn't cosy.
No heating in bathroom.
Tried a couple of times but couldn't get wifi and tv only had three channels.
The noise of the extractor fan in the bathroom was a bit like listening to a sawmill. A small issue is that it is not immediately obvious where to go to book in, or where to find breakfast as it is in another building, the sports centre.
very overlooked as carpark infront of bedroom window, perhaps not true of everyroom?.
no negative aspects.
The only thing that I would suggest improvement on would be the dinner, as the area was very empty and didn't give the sort of atmosphere that you would be used to when having dinner. Personally I think the atmosphere would be better if the staff came to your table to take orders also.
For a female solo traveller the lodge felt a little eerie at night.
Also, the walls are VERY thin - luckily I had quiet neighbours but if they had been noisy it would have been a problem.
My only negative would be the bedside tables were a bit dusty you could clearly see the dust on top. However this didnt ruin our stay.
Nothing.
Leaving...
Pedestrian access via the narrow roads on site a bit risky in the dark.
The bathroom was ok but i have used better.
i cant find anything to say that i did not like everything was super.
