Happy and polite staff. Clean, with friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely the best value for money in the Greater London area. At the price, you would be extremely hard put to find anything wrong with this hotel. Only half an hour from the centre of London, this hotel is ideally situated. Couldn't have been happier.Pleasant and comfortable room. Welcoming staff. Good location. todos opiniões »
.8 miles away from my final rendezvous. The accommodation was basic but adequate. The room was pleasent and clean and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel does not provide breakfast but there is a good cafe across the road and alsso a pub which serves breakfast next door. I was made aware of this fact before I booked my room but it did not bother me. Cheap and chearful, good for business stays. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful - they were wonderful. Great location and value for money.staff co operation. location of hotel. proximity of a variety of places to eat and railway connection. Very good handling items left behind after checking out.cheap and cheerfull. location was good for tv studios. Staff were very friendly,. location. It was in an excellent location for me and had all the amenities I needed - there were lost of shops and restaurants nearby. The price was very reasonable. Good location (above a J D Wetherspoons !!) in pleasant town.Easy and convenient access to London centre.Plenty of places to eat and drink.Convienient for work and transport connections, with having to take the car. good main street. location. The staff were very friendly. The Location. the rooms lacked cleanliness and the en suite was terrible how ever the staff were polite. Nothing is was so bad I left. nothing. No lift. Little bit of noise with early risers walking along corridor and the toilet seat was loose on one side but nothing to complain about.Current roadworks in Borehamwood High Street made it very difficult toget to the Hotel. Bedside lamp was dangerous (bulb too strong for theshade (starteed smoking!). Some of the decor is a little worn!. broken shower cubicle paint splashes on carpets and furniture. its was very dated, would only recomend it to someone for a over night stay. It was like travelling back to 1970(life on mars style), except the pub it is attached to is a major plus, highly recommended for food and drink. It made the stay worth while.room small and basic. The hotel was in a poor state, the room that we stayed in looked like ithad not seen a good deep clean in months. We did not walk aroundbarefooted!! Or have a shower, as it did not look inviting!. The room was very smoky and noisy as it was at the front (under the pub below's designated smoking area.) However you can't complain at such a low price and the bed was very comfy. I would definately stay again. Decoration and carpets very 'tatty' even though web site description said hotel had recently been refurbished - think they must have missed the one we stayed in. Room and en suite small and cramped. No coat hangers in wardrobe. Window in room looked out on to a wall only 6 inches away.Very basic and dated. What you would expect for the price. I thought the beds wre a lettle bit hard, also Parking hotel appears to share parking with local Weathespoons pub, early evening was not alwasy possible to park.bathroom. very dark, uneven floorboards in room and smell of drain. Our bathroom sink had a hole in it, the tiles were cracked, the window looked out on to a brick wall, the duvet's on the bed were stained with grease marks, the bed creaked with every move making it annoying for anyone who slept in the next bed. The Window was broken, There was nowhere to hang the shower head.we stayed in the same room that we had last time we stayed there and the same damp patch was in the bathroom and the shower head still seemed to be blocked with mould. The hotel information is not accurate, the room I stayed in has not been refurbished recently, fittings and fixtures were worn, loose on the wall, windows were dirty, under the bed was dusty, the shower tray was mouldy, the bathroom floor covering around shower tray was cracked and stained. Extractor fan very noisy Outside the window either a fan or motor was running all night. The hotel website said it had been refurbished.....when?. lack of facilities and said they could do breakfast but when we were there they said they didnt do them even though there was a sign saying they did. Did not match photo on booking details, poor location and in a very poor state of repair. Arrived at 23.00, couldn't get access till almost 23.30 despite notice saying 'back in 5 mins'. Smelly, dirty and uncomfortable. Toilet virtually unusable Tap dripping all night. Worse hotel Ive stayed in!.
