  I enjoyed the location and the politness of the staff and how quick they were at enabling me to gain access to my accommodation. - Particularly nice, helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Plenty of room in the car park.

  We stayed for one night on our way to Bristol airport.The house is beautiful with super old beams & some very nice pieces of antique furniture.Breakfast is a do it yourself job (in the spotless kitchen ) which suited us fine as we were leaving very early in the morning for our flight so actually didn't bother except tea.Could not be more conve... o que as pessoas dizem » nient for the airport - 5 minutes drive away.Thank you Johan, we will be back !!! Paul & Linda Garwood - The house has been newly renovated. We were the first people to stay in our room! Johan was very helpful, and explained things very well. The house is a bit of a maze and you needed a tour guide to find your room ;-) Private parking at the back of the house. There looked to be great views over the mendips, but we couldn't really get the full benefit due to pouring rain!

  We liked everything. Felt totally at home, so much so that we sat on the lounge floor in front of the 'real' fire each evening with the news papers and a drink. How relaxing is that? The people running the hotel were so friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to everyone. The pool needs a special mentiion too, my family think we should get one ... o que as pessoas dizem » just like it in our garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This really is a wonderful place to stay. Only 8 rooms, but worth a 5 star hotel. Spacious room and bathroom, swimmingpool and jacuzzi ! The landlady is an excellent cook, the menu is limited but just try the minestrone and the penne: superb ! And not expensive at all. For extensive reviews: see tripadvisor.com !!!

  We stayed in the room with access for disabled as it was the last room for 1 night - 2 beds downstairs, 1 double upstairs. Very comfortable and cosy room - would be extremely good if in a wheelchair etc as bathroom very good for that. Upstairs landing bedroom lovely. Was able to use the Wifi with ease and the food was excellent. Properly cooked... o que as pessoas dizem » and delicious. It's a real treat to get chips made from fresh potatoes and when you ask for rare meat you get it rare. Well done to them. Breakfas - We were made really welcome . The Landlord lit the fire in the sitting room so that we could enjoy our excellent bar meal in a more relaxed setting as the pub was fully booked .Excellent location only 5 miles from the airport . We would definitely go back as this would be an ideal place to stay for a visit to Bath . a really good find and excellent value for money .
