  The owner of the b&b was really nice, available and made us feel at ease soon. He is also a good cook, we had home made bread (he did it) for breakfast and it was very good. The en-suite room was very nice, confortable and perfectly clean, with anything you need inside.   We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Garden Suite self catering unit at Hawthorne Cottages (May 5-6) so much that the one rainy day we were there, we just relaxed, read and enjoyed watching the field of sheep outside our front window! Before the rainy cold weather set in we had planned a day to take the ferry to Mull and Iona and Hawthorne cottages would make a - Very nice stay in Hawthorn Cottage for 3 nights, we booked the cottage with garden view, so you have a little house with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room, washing machine, micro wave, free wifi. Owners are very friendly, breakfast in their house was great. Plenty of tips to go and explore the country. Close to the beach, 15 min walk. Close to Oban, 10 miles, 15 min drive.
