  The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a big bathroom. A great state of the art gym with all the machines and weights you would hope for- these seemed almost brand new! The bar was comfortable and had a relaxed and happy feel, whether during the day or the evening. This was the perfect location for visiting Bath as it took us less than a 2 minute walk to be in the centre! Ask for a river side view - Doing the paperwork early so that there were no delays when we checked in later. The offer of a map of the city.The positive reponses from all staff to requests: could we have an extra pillow to explanations of how the car park token needed to be validated as we were planning to actually leave the car park( which is underneath the hotel).   Very nice hotel, staff was excellent . food very good. It was a very short stay however hotel was extremely helpful to mark the special occasion as requested Thank you - The staff were extremely tentative and catered to our every needs, especially on the 6 course taster menu and providing wheat free alternatives.
