Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs

V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

The room was so much more than basic. We found it very inviting as soon as we walked in. The evening meal was done to perfection, and breakfast would satisfy anybody. - The staff were all very efficient and friendly and the surroundings were second to none.

I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. We loved our stay in this B&B. The hosts (Mary and her husband) were very friendly, helpful and flexible. We felt like we were at home. Breakfast was better than in a 5-star hotel! The situation of the B&B is central, so easy access for visiting the city. The room in which we stayed was very comfortable, spacious, nice and clean. -

My friend and I stayed in a twin room here for 3 nights. The guesthouse is warm and comfortable both in terms of the rooms and the lovely guesthouse owner who was very attentive during our stay. The breakfast was good quality as was the coffee, tea, biscuits provided in the room everyday. The guesthouse is just outside Bath centre but there are frequent buses and the Royal Crescent is only 35 min walk away. Would definitely recommend :-)
