We absolutely loved The Old Smithy Loft and will be recommending it to friends and anyone else we can.
It was very comfortable, very clean and just so welcoming, we wished we had stayed longer. Its also a beautiful walk into Bath city centre and not too far either we did take a taxi to the Thermae Spa (which is also lovely and relaxing and definitely to be recommended) but we walked in later. I liked everything about this location. The guest amenities were thoughtful, caring and very welcoming. The location is excellent, the flat was very warm and comfortable. The owners did everything in their power to leave us with nothing to want for. It was a home away from home and such a beautiful experience. I am grateful to the owners for making my stay a comfortable and memorable one. They truly care about their guests. I can't wait to go back.
The loft was perfect for our first trip away as a family, with our new baby. The location is perfect as really close to city centre. Really lovely, quiet location. Great to have off street parking as well. The apartment is extremely cosy, with lovely comfy beds. Great value for money. We'll definitely stay there again.
The Loft was perfect. Plenty of space, extremely comfortable and lovely modern decor. Very clean with extra touches added like real coffee, bread, milk etc. Great location, off street parking, quiet area but still very close to city centre (an easy and pleasant walk). I will stay here again without a doubt.
The old smithy loft was an absolutely amazing apartment! It was filled with little touches that made it. When we got there, there was sherry, flapjacks, brownies and a hand written note for us. So cute! This apartment is outstanding, great value for money and would definitely recommend it to everyone!.

The apartment was beautifully clean and well equipped. Everything we needed was provided as well as some lovely extras. The location was perfect, not too close to the busy centre of Bath but within easy walking distance.

I didn't like that I only had four nights to stay here. I intend to go back and stay for 2 weeks in 2014. It was that amazing.
The only thing I did not like was leaving. I really can not fault the place.

Did not receive confirmation e-mail with access code prior to arrival. Luckily owner was on site when we arrived.
A full length mirror would be a good addition but really that is nit picking!.
The entry was via key pad. When we arrived it did not work and
telephoned the owner who advised a different code. I did feel unsafe
with leaving belongings as I am not sure how often the code is changed
and felt that people could easily identify the code or recent visitors
could easily enter.

No welcome instructions. Did find a book of instructions but a welcome letter or email before we arrived would have been welcome ( did get one when we booked one year previously).

The second bed hadn't been made up despite an email from the owners to say it would be. It took a phone call and a couple more text messages to sort.
No view of the canal which I assumed there was as it appears in the photos about the old smithy and on postcards within the property.
