O que as pessoas dizem
I was travelling with my elderly mother visiting my daughter who resides nearby. We didn't check in until 9.45pm and found that we had to walk through a very busy noisy (live music) in order to get to the bar/reception in order to book in. The reception was not obvious !
Managed to attract the attention of a member of staff who was making coffee, by shouting. He did immediately take our details and took us to our room via a lift at the rear of the bar. Our room was amazingly quiet and exceptio. todos opiniões »
An extremely warm welcome on arrival. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tastefully decorated bar/dining room, and bedroom. Breakfast was delicious. Great menu if you decide to have lunch or evening meal too. Central location. Right on the high street in Arbroath. Plenty of free parking nearby. Very popular meeting place with locals. From mums with their toddlers meeting for lunch, to groups of friends having a meal and a drink at night. A brilliant hotel to stay at.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic,,,very friendly couldn't do enough to help......food was really good, we ate there both nights and the meals were fantastic and value for money,,,breakfast,,,great choice cooked breakfast was made to order,,,chef there is excellent. Situated right in the heart of everything you need ,, shops,,,access to beaches,,,have nothing negitive to say about the town house and will definatley be back there in the future......
Our room was charming; staff was incredibly nice and very helpful; we
had great food at the restaurant downstairs and great breakfasts--when
we mentioned that we'd been unable to find a restaurant in Arbroath
with Arbroath smokies on the menu one of the managers ordered a couple
of smokies special so that we could have them for breakfast! We loved
the downtown location and will definitely stay here again.
Hotel was really well placed in town, staff were all amazing and couldn't do enough to help, room was really pretty and immaculately clean and the food was just to die for! I enjoyed a great evening meal and a beautifully cooked breakfast. I will definitely be back!.
Staff were very helpful and quickly got to recognise me as a guest, unlike those in some chains I could mention. Room was comfortable and clean, quite well appointed, with bottled water as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Food was tasty and wel presented.
ALL the staff were very friendly
very helpfull, bar & night porter staff top blokes, check in & check
out straight forward.room was quite canny, breakfast was also very nice. If or when Im in Arbroath I will look up the Townhouse first.
Staff Brilliant couldn't be more helpful. Menu very good and tasty.
clean and comfortable room
central to where we required.
cost was acceptable neither to expensive or too cheap.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. In particular our breakfast waiter, who always had a lovely happy smile and was willing to do anything to help. Ten out of ten!!!.
The room & services were great value for money. The staff were so friendly, great breakfast & the hotel was in a great location in the heart of the town.
booked the hotel along with family members to attend my grandmothers funeral, the girl on reception was lovely and very helpful,i would book this hotel again.
All the staff were superb, very friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was very centrally situated for all town facilities.

The Hotel was very modern and clean.Staff were very friendly, and
Breakfast was excellent.We would
certainly stay there again if ever in
Arbroath.
The staff was extra helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to answer our questions and provide extra needs like an adapter for our iPad.
1.We only required a couple of rooms to lay our heads to recover from a family party being held nearby.
2. Breakfast buffet was delightful.
Staff responded well to a request for
a change of breakfast ingredients.
Also accommodated us quickly for dinner after a late arrival.
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Rooms were warm, clean and modern. The staff were polite, friendly & helpful.
I was in Arbroath to attend the Webster Theatre which was just across the road so location could not have been better.
Food was fantastic - well priced & really tasty
Staff were really friendly
Central position in the town

good size bedroom
evening meals and breakfast are very good.
clean rooms.
Great scenery, nice traditional little town, lovely relaxing stopover.
Good location in the town centre, across the street from the theatre.
Nice hotel. located in quiet place although in the centre of the city.
Room not large but adequate.
Staff exceptional.
Lift needs service.
Good value for money, staff friendly, good food, perfect location.
Location was central. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was great.
The location was perfect for us. In the middle of a small town.
Friendly, helpful staff. Close to centre of town and seafront.
Breakfast was lovely, good service and friendly staff.
We will stay again ...ticked all our boxes ;).

Well attended to in all respects.

Eeverything.
It was clean and modern friendly staff Food was good Breakfasts were
good Had a good break overall Wifi access was good.
Staff were friendly, and helpful. Food was good.
Room was clean with comfortable beds.
Location - town centre.
Close to the centre where we wanted to be.
Evening meal good and staff friendly.
Room was well equipped.
Nice room , night porter very efficient .
Location.
See above... Noise in the bar and access to the reception.
The hardwood posts at the base of the bed. Think they need those foam protectors you see on scaffolding. Bruised knees!!.
nothing negitive.
My room was quite small and the walls were pretty thin. I had earplugs and my neighbour was quiet so I got my beauty sleep, but there was significant noise breakthrough from next door.
No haggis on my breakfast, there is not allot in Arbroath but the people are very nice and it makes a good base to travel out from.like allot of coastal towns around the UK it just needs some investment(politics EH.!)
Go for the Smokies at least.
Rooms warm without heating being activated. suggest that in those rooms a small desk fan be provided.
Nothing at all to complain about.
The bathroom was a bit smelly of fried food coming from the kitchen downstairs. Because the room was a bit snug we kept banging our legs on the corners of the bed. Apart from these problems it was a pleasant stay.
we arrived at 9pm to be informed that the restaurant had stopped serving food, only disappointment.
Nothing negative.
1. Being wakened at 4 in the morning by the constant ringing of a phone in an adjoining room (thin walls issue)
2. Being disturbed further by the ensuing domestic between the "couple" adjoining.
3. Not a great deal of light in the bathroom.
4. No shower as such but a shower attachment that fed off the bath taps and as I was having my shower the pressure drop was considerable when someone either decided to also run a bath have a shower or flushed a toilet.
Reception was in a busy restaurant and bar,not particularly conducive to
dragging in cases and coats etc.
Room could better facilitate business travelers who need to work, including wifi or internet connection.
Choice of ales! Ale should be warm & flat not ice cold & fizzy.
My only criticism was that the hospitality tray did not include decaff. coffee.
Nowhere for hotel guests to sit away from pub customers except bedroom.
Didn't have croissants or yoghurt at breakfast even though listed on menu.
Squeaky headboard.
They did not take Amercian Express, when asking letsbookhotel.com they told us they did, the girl was a little rude at check in. No blow dryers in the room.
Nothing to dislike.
We had to go home.
I they were having heating issues, and work was going on to repair it I,am sure it is ok now.
Liked everything!.
Most of the rooms are on the top floor, the rooms have skylights as windows and the room was far too hot. The double bed was actually 2 singles put together so lump in the middle and there was only 1 bedside table and light. There was no way of opening the windows or closing the blind except standing on a chair. Not suitable for older people.
None.
Nothing really.
Very noisy, as in cheeky floorboards, sounded as though there was a heard of elephants walking about half the time through the corridors and upstairs. I am a light sleeper so was quite annoying, my partner didn't really hear it until she was awake naturally in the morning.
having to go trough resturant with luggage to check in.
NO Parking.
no onsite parking.
No separate restaurant as described on website Children and toys and
play area Holes in ceiling in main bar bistro was a bit unsightly
Toilets were very far away from bar/bistro.
Water was tepid for bathing and showering.
Loud monotonous drumbeat music from bar. At 2am my husband went down to complain as we were having difficulty sleeping. The barman turned it down immediately. He said my husband should have come down sooner!
No phone in room to contact staff.
No complaints.
More of a business hotel than a family holiday hotel.
The bedroom was fine but such heavy, dark furniture made it feel smaller and more cramped than it actually was.
Breakfast - at £85 for b&b, I don't expect to have to make my own tea and toast in the morning! Bread for toasting was laid out in the packaging the loaf comes in from the shops, which looked tacky. Cooked items were ok but a little greasy. Overall the hotel was ok but nothing special.
Room too warm but its warm everywhere, view not great.
Old room furniture. Bedstead old large and wooden. situated near dressing table and kept banging toes, knees and leg.
