  Nikki and Steve were amazing hosts --- they made us feel right at home! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Harpenden and close to anything you could possibly want. We even walked from the train station. Couldn't have asked for anything more!! - Immediate attention by friendly staff on arrival, We were part of a Christmas party booking staying overnight. Although busy our meals were all served together and the food was hot and extremely well presented. Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed the full english breakfast to next morning. Will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer to enjoy the town.

Whilst no restaurant there was a very useful "kitchen in a cupboard" with some nice touches - coffee, orange juice, crisps, microwave, wine glasses etc. Plenty of parking. The "chambermaid" was a hoot!

  I booked this hotel as my son was getting married and I needed a convenient base for the family. It worked out very well and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, pleasant and patient with us. Nice to visit again and again..
