I loved the fact that it was so clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I also loved the fact that the showers and loo had dispense shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Most hotels have little bottles with not enough. The room was cozy and modern and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent (4am in the morning as I had an early flight) They have a counter at the front desk with all essentials in case you needed anything (toothpaste, shaving cream, some medical suppli

It was very friendly without being intrusive, felt relaxed, location was perfect, breakfast although it said was continental, was more than enough choice. Over the past 20yrs I've eaten in the pub/restaurant many times but had never stayed in the hotel before. I will definatley being staying there again, i hope very soon. I enjoyed my stay there v

The staff could not do enough for you. We needed sheets for the pull out bed and the young lad came up made the bed and was a really nice lad.
We had our evening meal and breakfast there which was lovely and plenty of choice for the fussiest eater.
The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.

The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing.
The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.
And I was particularly grateful for a proper ironing board! -

shower was poerful and hot. Breakfast was well worth the £8 you can
prepay to reception on arrival. One of the best breakfast buffets I have
had in a city hotel. Including ready made porridge.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous - they seemed happy to be working there. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable as well. The breakfasts were really good as well. Location was good, close to High Street and the Cathedral. A wonderful stay and would most certainly book there again. - Ever

The fresh fruit salad at breakfast is heaven. The owners are charming and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay (2 nights) very much and recommend this hotel to anybody who want to be pampered.

offered a good choice and the cooked breakfast was very good. I thought
the hotel offered excellent value for money for a couple of nights stay
in Exeter. Encountered a bathroom sink leak on arrival around 7pm

The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. What really surprised me, was that the location of the hotel was much closer to the centre of Exeter than I had imagined. It was only a 5 minute leasurely walk to the heart of the city. I would have no hesitations whatsoever of staying here again. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Firstly, the location: ideal for the city centre and Exeter Central railway station (literally next door), bus station, the quay area (by the river - 7/8 min. walk) and Exeter St.Davids (15 min walk). Excellent staff, friendly helpful arrival, even though we arrived late
in the evening as we had advised, and that approach continued next day
morning. Rooms were fine, and bathroom facilities good especially
bearing in mind usual British plumbing standards. Location very close to
high street shopping and easy to get to main rail station although a hit
far with suitcases, but okay with a backpack. Easy taxi ride. Good pub
atmosphere on ground floor
