The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace. The Tulip hotel is extremely clean. The staff is very helpful, friendly,
accomodating, and speaks great English. The location is wonderful - very
convenient to all the major sites in Sultanhamet (Blue Mosque, Topkapi,
Hagia Sophia) as well as the great public transit network. Breakfast was
quite nice. The showers were wonderful, and had lots of hot water. They
were able to help arrange other travel within Turkey. Ahmet, the young

The atmosphere in this hostel was absolutely extraordinary! Green House is conveniently located within 5 minute walk from Taksim Square - during our 2 day stay we had to use public transport just once. It is also very easy to get there from the airport, Havatas buses leave every half an hour and drop you off almost at the hostel. 4 person apartment was clean and good value for money. I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.

We normally don't stay in dorms, but our experience was great. The staff were accomodating and friendly. Dorms were clean and spacious with big windows, comfortable beds, and lockers. The building is old, but charming and appeared to be well-maintained. Location is convenient and surprisingly quiet for being in the middle of Galata. Water cooler and brewed coffee at breakfast was a welcome bonus. A strong reccommend.

by far my favourite area in Istanbul), but was exceptionally clean,

The traditional Turkish breakfast is perfect, especially as it is
included in the price. The staff were great, and the facilities and

Overall excellent value/price. Staff is extremely friendly and
happy to help. Service is thought out into bits, from delicious
breakfast to Istanbul maps and hostel summary booklet provided when checking-
in. Rooms are clean and have low noise from outside when door closed.
Location is perfect to access neighboring Istiklal avenue and other
destinations are at walkable distance. There is also proximity of
public transport, such as metro and busses. I wish there were #bunk
hostels in other Europ

like a Home in Istanbul for us. We're so lucky that we found this
place. Location best of that could be. You do not even have to go out,

Appartments are 2 minutes from blue mosque, aya sofia ,...and also
tramway is 10 mn away . the area is safe and quite . it is surrounded by
many mini markets , restaurants and coffeshops. I also enjoyed food and
service at their( optimist) cafe .the appartment is clean and tidy. But
the most important thing was the owners bahadir and mohamet and their
staff especially ikut who were available at any time for any inqiuries
