Small, but a nice and clean room. We enjoyed the wonderful and warm pool and the great view from the restaurant. Friendly staff. Just 10min from Grand Bazaar. A lot of restaurants in the area, we liked "Lavazza". -

It's the 2nd time we stayed just only for one night and the staff always welcomed us very friendly, the rooms are big and bathroom too and are quiet. A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
