  A brand new property with very helpful and genuinely earnest staff. The rate is excellent at the moment too for a hotel of this high quality. A small but very nice indoor pool and spa area are a great bonus after a long hot day. The facilities are simply superb, the staff extremely friendly, courteous and very helpful. A very relaxed atmosphere. The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

I told him that i was very tired from my flight and he let me check in 7:00 a.m instead of 2:00 p.m and he let me eat breakfast all of this for no extra charge.
