The staff was very friendly,helpful and with very prompt reply to my requests and each time I was asking for directions I got a map of Istanbul on which they were marking all the explanations. Location just 3 minutes from Taksim square. 40 minutes walking distance from Galata bridge by Istikal street. Room were nice, not that big but cozy. Good wifi in room ( we even saw movies on-line) Breakfast weary good plenty of staff both hot dishes and Yogurts/ jams/ cheeses. Great pastry like very where in Stambul)))).

  We have stayed at Faik Pasha for two nights. This hotel is an excellent option in İstanbul. We chose this hotel due to the Taksim square protests. It is very close to İstiklal Street but it is located in very secure region of Taksim. The room was very well appointed, real boutique hotel style. In summary, everything is excellent. - Great location. Easy to move from there to visit the city and rich of bar pub cafe and nightlife. Nearby Karakoy a dinamic district with many lovely restaurant and the great istanbul modern, a museum you might see. The hotel is in an historic building but it is fully renovated and the result is a mix of historic perspective and contemporary taste. Everyone is very nice and gentle . Perfect for couple

  Traveling to Istanbul very often I stay at Point Barbaros very often as it is close to my office. I like the ambiance and location of the hotel, its modern design and excellent service.   Hospitality is SUPER GREAT, the staff is incredible. We felt as in home. Thank You. Things we liked: - Location: the hotel is located in sultanahmet, which is close to the city's landmarks (TopKapi, Blumosque, AgaSofia, Hippodrome, Grand Bazzar) and others. Location is really perfect. This hotel is best for a city-trip. It's 5 minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and Blue Moscue. Tram station is also not so far. The building is a historic one, after the restoration. Living in a tradition house is a special experience for travelers. Staff is extremely kind and helpful! Breakfast is quite simple but absolutely enough to start your day in Istanbul!
