I recently spent 5 nights in this property whilst on business in Istanbul. I would completely agree with the majority of reviews here. The highpoints of the hotel are:
a) Location - moments walk from all of the Old City attractions - Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Cistern, Grand Bazaar etc etc. It is also almost right on top of a tram line that will take

b) Staff - they are friendly, efficient and funny. They actually engage with you as people rather than -
In our opinion the this was the best possible place to stay in Istanbul. The views from the dining/breakfast room were stunning. While having breakfast, we could gaze at the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sophia, the sea of Marama and many other wonderful sights. In addition to this, the hotel was only a few minutes walk from the tram stop. So we were in a perfect location not only to walk to the best of the ancient sights, but also to get the tram to other parts of the city.

i loved the omelette show at breakfast.the staff was very nice and friendly. the historical places are so close, it is very convinient:) i love this hotel.they made me feel like home with all the service they provided. the restaurant had good food.the rooms were really modern and clean,comfy.i recommend it to everyone i know.it was a great business

and away from NOISE that's the most great thing about it.
the terrace pool is amazing with a view of the sea and ferryboats crossing all the time,,

The Grand Washington hotel was located in an ideal location for exploring the city - walkable to the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and other cultural sites. The staff was very accommodating - when we had problems with our first room, they rushed to switch us to a larger and more comfortable room. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The hotel upon request had also arranged transfers to and back to the airport which was also very handy.
Main tourist attractions were not that far from the hotel around 15min walk or 5-10min on the tram.
Last but not least I had forgotton some money in the hotel when I checked out. On route to the airport the bus driver recieved a phonecall saying we've left some belongings and to wait on the highway and a taxi will be sent to deliver o
