Small hotel but quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to several major landmarks. Tramway is 100 meters away. Breakfast is more than adequate and the coffee is freshly brewed every morning. Some rooms with terrasse, just inquire. Personnel helpful and aiming to please. Being a small hotel, the small elevator may be heard once in awhile but not loud enough to include that fact in the "didn't like" category.

Very centrally located in the old part of Istanbul, great air conditioning as it got quite hot in turkey, staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Only a thin blanket provided on bed and didn't quite cover two people in a double bed, breakfast was ordinary, if you got to breakfast a bit later all hot things were cold and weren't replenished again.

Great staff. Always greater us with a cup of tea or coffee and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Great location for tourists to see the old city.

The staff was excellent. The facilities were well kept, bathrooms and bedrooms were cleaned every day. During our 3day/3night stay the staff, especially Ibrahim went the extra step to make our stay comfortable/enjoyable.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location of hotel was very good because it is close from the tourism places ,shops and different restaurants,so you don't need to car to go to their.

Good location, clean rooms with tea facilities, breakfast with fruits. Good combination of price and quality.

We lived in family room. There is no conditioner in the second room. The soundproofing is bad.

Location is perfect. Staff were really friendly. Room was very big and confortable. There was nothing wrong, I would entirely recommend people to stay in Galata Hotel, staff made us feel really good and we do feel like home. The restaurant next door was great too, after a long day walk, you could have a great dinner at a very good price.

Family room for 3 person is equipped with all necessary items and it was exactly the same as on the picture.Room space is enough for 3 persons, bathroom size is also ok. Cleaning is done every day, towels also daily changed.Breakfast consist of olives, fresh vegetables (tomato and cucumbers, bread,cheeze,yougurt, sweets and boiled eggs, turkish and packet tea, cofee and juice.Everything is fresh and enough for the start of the day. WiFi works excellent. Location is great -short walikng to main tourist attarction, tram stop is near by. Hotel staff is friendly and efficient..

We had a room face to the street and it was very noisy at nights due to constructional works and workers who works all day and night. So we were forced to sleep with closed windows, which somehow help to prevent noise from the street. Airconditioning were not working as they would switch it on in by the end of May.But we slept well.

Big room (for Istanbul standards), great location, quiet in the night, nice staff, good value for money. I am traveling to Istanbul very often and it's not easy to find a reasonable budget hotel in good location. This one was a good choice.

Excellent location! All the main attractions were within walking distance. The breakfast was great-good selection of wonderful food. It was also really nice to have available a hotel shuttle service to/from the Ataturk Airport.

The staff was great, centrally located very cozy gem. The people were super friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!!!!!
