We arrived at the Anantara in the evening and were promptly checked in
and shown our room. It took a few minutes for us honeymooners to realise
we had been given twin beds much to our dismay, guest services offered
to move us to another room but we had to wait a couple of hours for it

Big hotel but you don/t sence that, the setup of the buildings (3 wings) and gardens give it a hidden, cozy atmosphere.
Breakfast is amaaaaazing!
Free shuttle boat to Central pier every half hour. From late afternoon also stop at Asiatique (great shopping and dining) on the other side of the river).
Good gym with group classes like step/yoga/stretching.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable. For breakfast (inc in the room rate) there was a choice of 3 menus and they were all good. Location is only a short ride from the airport in an a/c minibus (included in the trariff) and we were met by friendly staff at the arrivals area on time. Near the airport, nice size room. We had a wait frm about midday, when we arrived from koh samui, till midnight for our flight home. This hotel fit the bill. You can rest, leave your bags and go into the city. Then return for a shower and change. Fifteen minutes from suvarnabhumi airport.

We were traveling through Thailand and had one of the best times in Ayuttayah thanks to the hospitality at Baan Thai House. The staff is happy to go for the extra mile to attend to your needs and make sure you are comfortable. They recommended a very authentic Thai restaurant visited by the locals, where you can feel the genuinety of your Thai meal. Breakfast is basic, with a highlight of home made jam. Wifi available throughout the resort.

For a budget price this we found this a good value hotel run by a lovely family. Fairly simple accommodation and amenities but comfortable. Would recommend the tours of the city sights offered as navigating the sights is not easy and can cost more in sepetate tuk tuk fares
