We liked the hotel's location in the Ratchadaphisek area.It is within a short walking distance to the Central Plaza Rama9 and also Tesco Lotus which has a nice and clean food court offering reasonably priced local food.There are also plenty of interesting restaurants and cafes. We had a lovely stay in Tanatawey for 6 nights. Rooms are very well cleaned every day. There is a variety of choices for breakfast and they are delicious. I am mostly impressed by the service we have been received at the reception desk. All the receptionists speak good English and are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we are very satisfied with Tanatawey and would love to come back again.

hotel was good, staff were really helpful and could speak English. when we got there we enquired about a show and they rang up booked us two tickets for a show which was really helpful and nice of them. the pool is small but nice and clean and perfect for a quick dip when the weather gets too hot. the location is pretty good as it is about 5min walk from skytrain. it's the perfect hotel for a cheap short sight seeing trip to Bangkok. would stay again :)

Had a great time in this guesthouse, during my 4-days stay. It's located in a quiet area (pretty rare in Bangkok, I guess), just 10 minutes walk for the nearest BTS station (Surasak) and 15 minutes walk from the Central Pier (where you can take the boats to the main turistic zones).
