The location is great, quiet, within short walking distance of khao san road with the immediate location having a nice selection of quiet bars an places to eat.

This is a hidden gem in the heart of busy Bangkok. It is situated in a small street off a main street in the old town of Bangkok. Very close to the famous Khaosan road and relatively close to the Royal Palace, The Emerald Buddha and the Reclining Buddha. The pier is also relatively close, so you can take a boat trip and see the beautiful Wat Arun - The Temple of Dawn.

solved it by putting a the mattress from an extra-bed on top. It was
very comfortable.
Unlike many other hotels/hostels in the same area, there was air and space - in the outdoor restaurant, the garden and the courtyard for parking.
There was a washing machine! Very good.

Great hotel, clean rooms, good, tv, laundry facilities, tourist desk for trips. Love the location of this hotel as it is a 5-10 minute walk from the khaosan road so you have can have all the craziness but with somewhere you can go back and have some peace and calm. Theres a great cafe a 3 minute walk from here called Chomp that has amazing food and homemade bread and amazing service.

I stayed here 3 times during a months holiday in Thailand. The staff
were always helpful, friendly and welcoming. They put me in the same
room each time - I began to think of room 204 as my home in Bangkok! And
they allowed me to check in at 4am when my bus arrived earlier than
stated, and didn't charge me an extra night which is pretty decent.

Korbua House is in a wonderful location off the main street and facing a canal. This made for a quiet and beautiful stay near a particularly busy section of town. If you want to stay in the old city part of Bangkok, I think Korbua is one of the best choices, and feels brand new in the decor and furnishings.
