  The location is right on a beautiful beach, ideal for lounging on or strolling along to the various restaurants along the sands. The staff are extremely helpful, and very friendly. Briliiant accommodation, especially Hydro pool rooms, relaxing place to stay. It was clean, the service is good. Breakfast is OK only. Beach is good, although the area has better ones in terms of sand softness and water depth.

  The whole atmosphere @ Buddy!! I'm planning to return to Koh Samui as I fell in love with the place & Buddy Oriental. The food was of supurb quality and quantity; I take my hat off to the head chef Gina who works tirelessly to ensure all runs smoothly & is an excellent cook. All the staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for us all. I can even buy Thai Baht from my local anz - I liked the ambience and the architecture of Buddy. The staff were always helpful and friendly. the complex has a good variety of shops and restaurants although I mostly chose to eat at the nearby New Hut for budget reasons and preferred to try "authentic Thai" food with fellow travelers. The pools were beautiful although on my second last day whilst lounging at the big pool a snake fell out of a over hanging palm and landed on my chest, however I don't blame the resort for that.   The hotel is beautiful, and staff top notch. The attention to detail and special touches at every turn were outstanding. The pillows and bed were the most comfortable I have slept on in Thailand, I was ill for a day upon arrival,and spent the better part of a day in bed. You cannot believe how they pampered me. The Manager and Assistant Manger both were visible and wonderful. I love - From the time we walked into the lobby were we greeted by the a friendly staff. The four days we were there the staff was always available to answer our questions. Things about the island, spa, food, excursions and the hotel. We are planning a visit in December and looking forward to the stay.
