  Pimalai is truly a little slice of heaven. Stunning grounds, delicious food, gorgeous spacious rooms on the most beautiful stretch of the island. All this being said the best thing about the resort are all of the amazing people working there. Every person we came into contact with was so pleasant and cheerful. I hope I am lucky enough to return to this haven of peace someday, as this is truly a unique and perfect spot - We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

We - We like this hotel very much- specially the personal. I have never experienced such a kindness before. They made our stay the best of our Thiland trip. First time in my life I was so sad to leave from the hotel. They gave me handmade gift when we left, it was very heart- warming. Long beach was very nice and free shuttle to the beach was perfect. Hotel is very cozy and sweet, pool is perfect with childen. Love this hotel- even it was a bit away from the beach. Koh Lanta is a great place, would

  very quiet, only 20 guest (high season 300). Location was nice, but you have to rent a motorbike (4 euro/day) to explore the island more. Beautiful garden and ponds (with some Iguanas in it) in the center of the hotel, so nice view from breakfast area, which is on 2nd floor. We sat at the balcony, very nice. Hotel has small movie theater. Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families. Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Ancient Realm. Having stayed a few nights on a more developed beach farther north before our stay here, we really enjoyed the serenity that awaited at Ancient Realm. Although our previous place was directly on the beach, we still spent a good part of our days there on the motorbike exploring the island.
