  Friendly and helpful staff (the staff were excellent and always smiling). Location to old city and surrounding restaurants. The food served from the hotel was great. - We booked a standard double room. Rooms were clean. We had a safe and a desk. The staff was kind and helpful.

  The staff was absolutely great. Sake (spelling) was very welcoming at reception and incredibly friendly. We were lucky to be assigned the two bed room on the bottom floor, which is highly preferred if you get the choice - as the higher you go in the building, the hotter it gets due to the sun! The beds are what you commonly see at budget backpacker hostels - not a mattress but instead the standard semi-solid lounge mats wrapped in a bed sh - The young guy who owns the guesthouse is simply the best hotel staff we found in more than 2 weeks in Thailand. The GH is an old Studentsdorm that he is repairing to convert it in a great GH. The location is perfect: a little far from the busy Sunday walking street but within a walking distance from all spots in the city. We slept in the room in the 1st floor: basic Double bed fan room but enough regarding our necessities: we use the GH only to sleep and an A/C in Chiang mai is not necessary a

  So basically was in Green Tulip down the street earlier in the week for a week, and they would not let me leave my bags for an overnight trip to sukhothai and were very rude. So I went up the road to V&Oh and it was the best experience ever! I have to say first that I am an American born Chinese so I had a lot of fun meeting the many Chinese ... o que as pessoas dizem » people there and Virginia was really kind and always accommodating. Some chill international guys came in later in the week so you might encounter we - Feels like home. Great balcony to sit and relax at and the staff are so nice. You could not wish for better hosts. 4min walk to 7/11, restaurants and local eating places. Park is close by as well. Wi-Fi works perfect! Also in the rooms. I would come back and I will certainly recommend the place to anyone traveling on a budget. I am here to visit my friend, and he feels more than welcome too. Cute kittens everywhere.
