I would step out the front door of the Aruntara and there was a security officer to make sure I got a taxi or more importantly get across the street.   There is so much to like about Baan Boo Loo! The staff was wonderful and really took excellent care to see to mine and (I noticed ) the rest of the guest's travel needs. They held a banquet and lantern ceremony for us one evening, which was really special, since none of us had seen them or done that before.   Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast . Everything is fresh and hot , with staff checking the trays for when things run out .Room was large with a separate shower and a bathtub.   We booked a villa in this lovely resort for six nights and loved every minute from the moment we checked in until the day we left. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful and most had excellent English. The grounds and rooms are impeccably maintained. We enjoyed daily breakfast (excellent spread) and a couple of evening meals in the resta... o que as pessoas dizem » urant, which were all of good quality and reasonably priced. As a honeymoon treat, we arranged a "private romantic poolside dinner" one evening, with - We enjoyed the lovely setting of Siripanna, the low-rise buildings, mixed with villas, the lush, green gardens, lovely unusual pool. Our room comfortable and spacious. Staff very accommodating but you did have to come up with the questions of what to do, touring wasn't openly offered here. Didn't mind that it was slightly out of town, the beautiful setting more than made up for this and the area was interesting. However free shuttles to the main markets and the night bazaar helped.

  I was in Chiang Mai for 5 days and stayed in 3 different places(busy time, Chinese new year). Tjr was easily my favourite of the 3. Fantastic location, very helpful and friendly staff and the room was the best value in terms of comfort/cleanliness for any accommodation I stayed in whilst in Thailand. The lady (I forgot her name) was very gentle and friendly. We arrived a little bit tired from Bangkok with no idea of what to do those days at Chang Mai. She sat with us and explained all the offers about tours and potential places to visit, what was it good or not for us, etc. Also she booked for us the tours that we made. She teached us to order the breakfast the night before and it was ready next day at the hour you asked
