Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck. Most amazing for Switzerland: Even the staff is super friendly and helpful! -

The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient.

1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.

The hotel is not very modern furnished in general, but have modern bathrooms and a large and delicious SPA area. All parts of the hotel seems well maintained and everything is clean. Good breakfast with a broad selection of cold cuts, cereals, eggs, bacon and sausages.

We brought our 10 month old twins, so travelling is always an ordeal. The staff was wonderful, and the room was traditional Swiss (which I loved!). Even though the hotel policies stated that there was a maximum of one babycot per room, there were two lovely wooden cribs set up for us when we arrived. Our room was bright and very comfortable. Nice to have a separate living area which is unusual to find in most hotel rooms. Spa and pool area also very pleasant. Good choice of food at breakfast each morning. Wifi fabulous, fastest we have experienced anywhere! -

Modern, comfortable and cozy hotel with Matterhorn views. A short walk from the center, fine for us as we preferred the quieter location. Make sure to book the complimentary transfer from the train station, the walk is a little uphill and can be slippery and difficult with luggage. As the first room we checked into did not have a view of the Matterhorn, with Raymond and Gerald's assistance, our room was changed for the second evening of our stay, which had an incredible view of the Matterhorn! We were 13 nights in the hotel and had a fabulous time. It is a very nicely renovated hotel, modern but very user friendly. Rooms are spaceous and nicely decorated. Sauna was very complete for a hotel sauna. Massage should be pre booked in winter but are very good and can be recommended. Dinner was excellent as well as breakfast. Location is great!
