  This is an extraordinary place sitting all by itself in a mountain valley looking at many glaciers. Dinner by the window with the setting sun is an unforgettable experience! Getting there I would recommend the smaller horse carriage.   I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is family run and they made me feel very welcome. The building has lots of historic charm (its almost 120 years old) but is very clean and well maintained. My single room was spacious and very comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus. The included breakfast had a nice variety.
