Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br

The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. The staff were excellent, on every level. Very child friendly with kids club, indoor pool was a life send in the bad weather. Apartment was a great size for our family of 5. I can't say enough about the staff, they were so efficient. The entertainment at night for kids and adults was great. We're going back again! Food was great too... -

Great location in Puerto de Soller (but if your main interest is to go to beaches, I would recommend other locations like Cala D'or or Alcudia). Lovely clean hotel with helpfull staff, breakfast was great especially squeezing your own orange juice. Had a room facing the mountains, although not sea view the mountain view was great, really refreshing. The balcony was large so drinks in the evening was relaxing. Staff were great and very accommadating booking restaurants etc specially for the surrounding areas.
One street away from the beach and in a fairly quiet location.

We liked all of the facilities and particularly the beach and the areaaround with spectacular views and ease of access to local towns. As afamily with 2 children (13 and10 years) we found there was plenty to doand a good nightlife within and also nearby at Port Cala Rajada. - great beach and very kid friendly

The staff is very friendly and you really have the feeling that they are there to take care of you. The hotel is a very good and the rooms are great. Hotel is in very good location, just few metres away from beach and all shops, bars and restaurants. All 3 swimming pools are very nice, food was good, rooms clean with air condit. The Hotel is located in the Playa de Muro, next to bus station and it's very convenient to get here from Palma - sus 351 goes from Palma bus/train station every 30 minutes. The Hotel is very big and have several buildings and swimming pools. The restaurant is in the central building. The meals are various inlc. seafood, but it's a little bit crowd
