This is a good basic hotel, but with luxurious location! The sea, the beach, the view are wonderful from the hotel, you can hop in the sea just like that. Very clean nicely maintained gardens and communal areas. We had apartment on third floor overlooking sea, very spacious with a good range of kitchen equipment and huge balcony. We have stayed in Cala D'Or Playa from 20 to 27th June. The location, facilities, cleanliness, staff are absolutely brilliant. We had a half board basis, food was delicious, good selection for breakfast, evening meals were amazing - huge variety each night, everything always fresh and hot. Entertainment team is great as well, there's plenty of things to do for the kids, different show every evening. We stayed for 4 days and really loved the location - up on a hill with beautiful views over the bay. The hotel is much quainter than any of the others with lots of outdoor dining/seating areas. The food was excellent with lots of choice. We will certainly return for another short and very inexpensive break in the sun!
