  We stayed at the BB for one week in March and were very sorry to come home. We stayed in house number 17 it was clean and tidy and had a newish kitchen and two bathrooms.   We recommend Maspalomas Lago if you are looking for a cheap but nice place to stay. We have spent 3-6 weeks in Gran Canara the last 16 winters, always in bungalows in Maspalomas or Playa del Ingles. We hope we can come back next year and stay at Maspalomas Lago. We could have stayed in new or new renovated bungalows/hotels for a double price but the sun is the same in both places and it is the sun - The chalet was very good, as described. I was travelling alone and just wanted something basic and reasonably priced, a place to rest after a day out in the mountains of Gran Canaria, walking and taking pictures. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good wifi service for 18 euro a week. I would definitely return if I want to stay in Maspalomas again.

  The location is 15 minutes by car from airport, you have to get car to visit the island and this location is in the middle of every direction , so excellent for my point of view.15 minutes to go to playa ingles and 15 to las Palmas city and so on, I totally raccomand the place if u like to go around renting car, bus also from airport can bring up ... o que as pessoas dizem » to hostel in 15 minutes, hostel very clean and simple, nice and kind hospitaly from owner! Congratulation I will be back here when deciding to return - The staff were very friendly. It was 5km from the airport. I was on my way to Malaga so only stayed one night but would stay there again. It did look like it was newly refurbished. Very interesting decor. Going up in the lift was a glass window with views of waterfalls sharks shells fisherman in a boat. An enjoyable stay. Kathryn. Uk
