I have stayed in the hotel Don Quijote twice: once with ma friend (4 nights) and the other 3 nights with ma boyfriend.
When we stayed with ma friend, I forgot to book the smoking room, so we didnt get the room with the balcony, which for me was the only minus.

Location is so close to the beach. There is a taxi stop few steps from the hotel and it is so central and convenient. Bus stops are walking distance. All area is surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants. A convenience store is right by the corner. From the airport the shuttle takes u for 3 euros to a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Some of the staff needs some English practice but many can communicate well. Very convenient.

Very clean and well-equipped apartments. Air con made a huge difference. Location is perfect; central to cafes and restaurants, and right opposite the beach. Sea view in every room, so you cannot go wrong. Shop just underneath apartments is the best for value in the vicinity, baking fresh baguettes and croissants, pastries etc. every morning. Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills.
A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

Just about everything! The excellent and friendly staff has to be mentioned. Lovely garden and views. Great pool, big and deep. The private cove, Muleta, is really lovely with clear, salty, soft water and friendly people and good food at the bar. (The 20 minute bus ride to the cove is not a problem, don't miss it!)

Although the accommodation was fairly basic, it was very clean and
reasonably well equipped. The host, Frank was exceptionally helpful and
ready to oblige with anything extra which may be required. The pool and
grounds of the hotel were well attended to and pre-recession the hotel

We really enjoyed being in the town of Puerto Petro; we are not big-city people at all, and it was lovely to be in a small town. Cal d"Or is just minutes away, where you can find many more shops and larger supermarkets. Our apartment was perfect, with a wonderful view of the port. Frank is very helpful and friendly. We would most definitely return!
