  We loved the location and the extra space. Been travelling for a long time and enjoyed being able to cook our own meals. There is a better supermarket than those named by the apartment next to the #11 red bus stop (ask at the tourist information). BEST OF ALL... we had a problem with two broken lights and toaster. They were always taking care about everything. I had free breakfest, it was basic like cereal, milk, tea, coffee, jam, bread. But it was very delicious. You can use kitchen whenever You want, to make dinner and supper for yourself. Beds were clean, lockers were safe, bathroom was clean. Everything was perfect! And the price was very very low! I totally recomend this hostel for everyone.

Place is clean and quiet, friendly staff. This place has - The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

If you drive there is no parking apart from in il cort ingles which will set you back 18 euros for 24hrs so add this to your price.
