This hotel is in a good location for access to the Grand Prix circuit - on the outskirts of Barcelona, with easy access via metro to the centre and a walk across the road to a decent beach. Parking is good in the underground car park. The hotel is modern and reasonably well equipped - the rooms (lighting, heating) are 'run' by a software interface screen in each room. Our Exec room was large enough and well designed. The bar Tapas was pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. The hotel itself is beautiful and kept up. Our room was lovely with a terrace overlooking the Cathedral. Staff was very accommodating and recommended excellent restaurants. It was a wonderful experience!

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the harbour and Las Rambles. We upgraded to a superior room and it had a huge bed with enough space and also a balcony / patio, we also got spa access included for upgrading. The staff were very helpful and you can help yourself to coffees and pastries in the afternoon free of charge which is a nice little extra. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again as it was great.
