  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... o que as pessoas dizem » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.

  Modern hotel with spacious rooms, clean and very comfortable, high quality fixtures and good shower. Reception staff friendly enough. Location was fine, caught Bizkaibus outside Airport Terminal straight to Centre (get off 2nd stop) and 10 minute walk to the Hotel. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby at reasonable prices. Very nice stay ... o que as pessoas dizem » for a weekend break, all attractions within reasonable walking distance. - This Hotel is an upscale modern facility set in a grand old building. It is centrally located in downtown Bilbao walking distance from everything and anything. The hotel would best be characterized, at least subjectively, as business luxury: it is luxurious but not plush. Lastly, it was a very good deal through letsbookhotel.com during the period we stayed. Highly recommended for top level comfort.

Parking is underneath hotel and accessed without having to check in first. The location is great only 10mins walk from Guggenheim Museum through the nicer parts of Bilbao. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. The bed in the hotel was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in.
