  Hotel Sa Calma is a gorgeous hotel and we had an extremely relaxing stay there. The staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome our entire stay. They have a chess and a backgammon table in a beautiful sitting area and it was great to see my two older boys having a blast challenging each other in a game of chess upon our arrival. The breakfast up on the rooftop terrace was excellent and once again the staff reall - The decor and attention to detail made this a beautifully appointed boutique hotel. it is located right in the center of the quiet village of Begur. The breakfasts on the patio are superb with great food selection and quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It was one of the most pleasant hotel experiences we've had and we travel a lot!

  The staff was very friendly and very welcoming. We had the most amazing time ever! - Very welcoming and friendly Manager and staff. Relaxed atmospere and comfortable lounge areas.   The hotel is located in the center of the town of Begur and there are great restaurants and shopping in town so the location is fantastic. It is a convenient base to explore the areas' beaches and small towns. The hotel was very clean and we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet that is included in the price.   L'Aixart is a gem of a place that is hard to explain. There are only 4 rooms and they are a little more hostel like than hotel like. Outside of the rooms, this is a great property that has an awesome lounge in a great area of Costa Brava. Since it was low season we had the hotel to ourselves for 2 nights and on the third night another couple arrived. George - The hospitality was fantastic. I drove in late, and the owner of the hostel offered to make me dinner from the kitchen, even though the restaurant was almost closed. The menu is fantastic. All the dishes were excellently prepared, making this a hotel that you don't need to wander far from. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with a big shared deck in front (there are only 4 rooms total, so it's still very peaceful and mellow). My room had a gorgeous view of the ocean as well.
