  The apartment was clean with more than adequate facilities for a short break. There was an underground secure car park. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket, restaurant, two bars and a fabulous pizzaria all within a five minute stroll. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake (if you are at the rear of the apa... o que as pessoas dizem » rtment block) is very interesting and constantly changing. All in all the perfect place for a short break stay on the outskirts of Santander. - Clean, spacious for 4 persons, well equipped. True, we spnt only 1 night, travelling from by car from Barcelona to Comillas,Santillana del Mar. Underground garage facility included in the price. Easy breakfast, more than nothing, was not expected but got. Very good Spanish restaurant in 300 meters. Very kind and helpful staff.

  The teenagers' room had an adjoining sun room with table and chairs and windows which opened properly. Also, we were able to park right outside the hotel for a small fee. All very clean. - Staff were helpful and friendly,room and facilities clean,quiet and location close to town center,train,bus,and port,well worth a visit

  Really liked Hostal Mexicana. A well-run and well-kept hostal. Really comfy beds. Clean throughout. Decor a little dated but quaint. Excellent location of hostal too. Santander is a great place for short break: mountains, sea, city and good food. - Just next to the main square! Very friendly and helpful staff.

  When I initially booked my accommodation at this hotel I asked for a double room that had plenty of fresh air, as I suffer if exposed to cigs smoke or various smelly things. To accommodate this request they upgraded us to a 1 bedroom self contained apartment at no extra cost. The apartment was fantastic and I woke up feeling refreshed instead of ... o que as pessoas dizem » with sinus pain. So, for me this is a great thing. From the apartment it was a nice walk into the old city and we enjoyed our stroll there. The cafe o - The price is really good and the rooms are fully refurbished and with a private bathroom with shower. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there wasn't any noise whatsoever. The staff were friendly and there's a bistro bar downstairs. There's plenty of parking space around the hostel
