  I liked the way staff go out of their way to help with relevant information. That made our stay a very comfortable one. Next time I visit Cape Town I will we consider staying with the Sweet Lemon B&B.   We stayed three nights at B.I.G. in one of the worst downpours, with hail, seen by Cape Town in years. This managed to mess up our plans.... But due to Amilion, Linda, Tulua, and Amy, we were able to have a wonderful time anyway. Since this was top of our desires, we are soooo thankful to her for her insistence as we may not have been able to see it otherwise. The rooms were - We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

  Heather and Lynn are great hosts and their staff all really nice. Villa Rosa is a beautiful old house in superb location in Seapoint, incl your view of the ocean from your balcony or veranda. It just took us 5min to walk to the bus stop and Hop on off. There are some really nice restaurants on Main street, too. Breakfasts are delicio - I loved everything about our stay at VillaRosa, it is close to everything that you can think of when visiting Cape Town, the likes of Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront (Roben Ireland), Camps bay and etc... I'm definetly going to stay at Villa Rosa on my next trip to Capte Town. My kids loved staying at Villa Rosa, they are super crazy about their stay. Thank you very much to all Villa Rosa Staff.

  The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. A very pleasant place to stay, only a quick taxi ride (or reasonable walking distance if so desired) of the V&A waterfront. There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

  It was very clean and the location was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More luxury than you might expect from a bed & breakfast (guest house). Really charming. We slept very good. (I would ask for a room which is not next to the breakfast area.) Overall we would come back!
