I have never been so impressed with the staff, than I have with those at this hotel. They could not do enough to ensure that you had a great stay. One of our highlights of our trip to SA. A credit to the hotel.

The location is wonderful, and the relaxed atmosphere was perfect. The service is great - Our water was not very hot the first night (probably something i was not doing correctly) and they fixed it while we were out having breakfast. The spa right next door is a bonus and a must visit if you're having a relaxing weekend. -

A gem in the Eastern Cape, truly the best Lodge we stayed during our trip of South Africa. Villa Paradisa is extremely well appointed and has stunning views. Great location - close to Waterfront and perfect view over the lagoon. Big rooms with nice bath/shower. You better take the room with lagoon view, e.g. on the upper floor. But if you don't make it for the room with lagoon view, breakfast area has perfect view as well.

The rooms are beautiful and we had an amazing view from our deck outside our room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to Knysna but just far enough out of Town to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the area.

Everything. Being in the travel industry, I have been to many guest houses, and this one by far is my favourite. Very clean, very comfy, but mostly, very friendly. I will only come back to Herons guest house in the future! -
