  The location was great, close enough to all the activity but not so close that you are woken up or disturbed. The room was clean and the majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel is very close to the V&A, Long Street (bars), easy to get to the vast array of beautiful beaches, close to Table Mountain, there are lots of lo... o que as pessoas dizem » vely little restaurants and shops. Cape Town itself was incredible! If you like live music, go to the Dubliner on Long Street, Mama Africa has amazing - Clean, comfortable, well kitted out rooms in a great area of Cape Town. Easy walk to the waterfront. Very accommodating given I was unwell during my stay. Free parking right outside. Excellent value for money.

  The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.
