  The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. From the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff did everything to make my stay a pleasurable one. St Petersburg is such a wonderful city and the staff at Anichkov certainly contribute to make everyone's - The staff were superb and always on hand to help. The location was ideal and meant that everything in the historic heart of the city was within walking distance. The water cooler was very handy!

  The location is very good, it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the city center if you go by foot and just 5 minutes to the nearest Metro station. Near the hotel you can easily find some small cafes and shops. Actually the hotel ocuppies several rooms in a standard residential house, with the total number of rooms equaling to 6. I also liked that breakfast is delivered to your room, no need to get fully ready and dressed before you go to eat - you can enjoy it at the comfort of your own room.
