Absolutely a positive experience! Good location, comfortable and clean hotel and operated like western hotels. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful and they spoke fluent English. This all gave a feeling of being welcome there.

The Anchikov has only a few rooms and the staff really treat all of their guests like a kings and queens. Location is great, which is convenience for walking tour and city bus, while it is very near close to Stockmann where you can buy local delicious food then take come back to hotel dinning hall to enjoy it with nice coffee, tea, and, microoven, tableware are also available for use in dining hall.
Breakfast is valuable and beautiful which give me a nice mood at the beginning of a new day.

The room was nice, much better and bigger than hotel room. Kitchen was a plus and had everything we need to cook a meal. The hotel is close to the metro which is great. Luckily I checked out google maps ahead of time or else I may have had a problem finding the entrance though. The rooms were big and clean and I liked the "Russian" view. Everything was working right and it was perfect, I honestly can't think of something bad to say. The staff were helpful as well.
