  Everything was satisfactory. Room was cozy and clean, wifi works perfect, morning meal is provided which is good, ladies in reception desk were really kind and nice, location was just perfect - so near to city center but not loud, and a good grocery store is just in 5 min. Not only the staff and the guests are very friendly and pleasent but also the condition and cleanliness of the hostel itself is commendable. And of course the location is perfect as well. Even the picky person (as my boyfreind;) was satisfied.

  Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the location - it is situated right in the historic centre of St. Petersburg, all sights are very close - I managed to visit a lot in a very short time and didn't even have to use Russian public transport (which leaves a lot to be desired!!).   My friend and I were on a short vacation in St. Petersburg. I stayed before in another hotel of Altburg group and liked it quite a lot. We wanted to book in the same building, but contacted Altburg somewhat too late, and it was already fully booked. We got a room in a different hotel of the same chain. We had late mornings and fully used - The hotel is very comfortable and clean, the personnel is very nice, smiling and polite. They offered a breakfast any time when we woke up! And a free tea and coffee during the day! We loved this hotel and will probably come back.

  I was a roomy two-bedroom apartment in a classic building, with entry from inside the courtyard. All the facilities were there, including a full kitchen and a washing machine for laundry. The neighbor was nice although it was a considerable walk to Metro.
