The Beach Guest House is very clean and peaceful. The caretaker is very nice and responsible. The location is perfect for a getaway and right off the strip from small restaurants with Puerto Rican cuisine. I recommend renting the whole house with family and friends its very budget friendly. The pool and jacuzzi are maintained with high standards and complete the scenery. If your nightlife caters to bars and clubs and shopping your not far away from the city.
todos opiniões » It was great to stay in an apartment-like room And make our own food ... IF we wanted to. For the most part it was quiet And without the 4-5 star hotel crowds. Our time there was beautiful And memorable as we enjoyed the beach just beyond the pool, jucuzzi And boardwalk. Every Sunday, there's a live band playing traditional music And popular Salsa tunes as well. We'll definately go back! Loved it!. Excellent location, right on the beach (the sea is too rough to swim in though) - and a little away from the crowded tourist area. Staff (Ivan and Juan) were very helpful and always reachable. Generally felt safe at all times. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Huge balcony attached to our apartment (others don't have one). There is a garage for parking. Location, location, location. It is around 2 miles from the airport, which is great. The beach is right there, so beautiful. You have local cuisine and souvenir shops within walking distance so you don't have to go shopping around. I found it very secure, you have a private, enclosed parking space if you rent a car. The staff made me feel so welcomed .... I loved the area it was close to everything ..., but the actual hotel was kinda secluded so their was so much privacy ... It was one of my best stays in PR & I go every yr. the area, the pool, the staff, having the ocean right in the back...everything was beautiful...would recommend.. We were near everything from beach to casino market. the personal who work in there specialty sr. Juan. Juan is AWESOME. He runs the place. Place was attractive and clean. Nice pool. Great outside restaurant/bar very close wiith great service and friendly people!. The boardwalk was nice, however, you had to climb thru fence to get to it. Not direct access from hotel. Garage parking provided. The low water pressure in the shower only meant longer showers. The one-BR apartment was supposed to be for four people, but basically there was only one bed for two people, and one uncomfortable sofa-bed. We stayed for a week, but there was no scheduled cleaning or changing of sheets - we had to pay extra for a mid-week cleaning. We loved the place, but if you are used to staying only at "Hiltons", this may not be for you. You have to pay for your complete stay up front. They should at least inform you ahead of time. It's not like a hotel, where you pay at check-out. There you have to pay for your complete stay when you check in. The $60 service fee that I didn't notice in the small print when I booked .... Also water pressure was very low ... But def will stay their again if the price is right. the shower, couldn't control the water temp and water flow was to low...pillows were too flat..could use central air.. The road. we cant' invite friends enjoy with us in the pool because they charge 25 dollars per person for stay in the pool for a few hours. It was a little hard to find. Google maps showed us the wrong location. Loud music blaring all day and evening outside. Loud machine turned on at 8 am just under our window, which never stopped. No real entrance to the beach - had to crawl under the boardwalk. Also no entrance to the boardwalk from the property - had to climb over the railing. Discovered used condom on the floor as we left while making sure we didn't forget anything. Remote did not open the gate in the morning, and we were effectively locked in for several minutes. No bowls in kitchen. Hot tub had cold water, tv's didn't work in the room, ants in the room, no ice available. Charged extra fees that we were unaware. If a very poor neighborhood. Room was small. Floor plan was poor. No elevator. Staff was seldom present. Accommodations were extremely over priced. Very small with only three to four rooms. Have weddings on weekend. With very loud music until midnight. Hotwater only in shower. Bathroom & kitchen sink have cold water only. Has bedbugs. Got bitten. No room cleaning. Have to go and ask for towels if you find the person in the office.
