O que as pessoas dizem
We stayed at the Folk Hostel in the apartment, which is separate from the main building, so apart from checking in and out, we didn't see the rest of the hostel so can't comment on it.
The apartment, however, was superb. The location is great - just a few minutes walk away from the old town, and right beside a busy main road with shops and restaurants. There are also, of course, plenty of bars and restaurants in the old town, too. The apartment is on the first floor (with no lift) and is one. todos opiniões »
Once inside the hostel, it's very new and clean and organized. I had
a single room, and it was compact but more than adequate. The lighting
was excellent. Te shared showers were very small but adequate.
The old town square is stunning and just a short walk from the hostel. I selected this hostel because it was in the centre of town.
The hostel was right next to the main street, very close to the old town and all. A bit of a hard time finding it as the entrance is not on the street they claim for the hostel to be on but on the next street, behind the building. The hostel was very nice.
I liked the hostel overall and the sights in Lublin I.E. Majdanek, the
Lublin Museum and the frescoes in the Chapel. I also just enjoyed
wandering around the city. Just by chance, I was there during part of a
4 day Flavors of Europe Festival.
The apartment I booked was quite spacious and it had all I needed. The location is very central for the old town so all was perfect. some of the staff are not great with English but they always tried to help.
Friendly and polite staff, clean bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms.
Really big kitchen with all needed stuff.
Good location.
I really liked the kitchen with self service, you can make tea or coffee ( available ).Fast internet connection, for free.
The stuff was very friendly. Though there was a little confusion with dates, we were provided with even better room.
Great position, the single room is very quiet and comfortable, kitchen is ready for use, wi fi connection good.
Friendly English speaking staff, center of the town, really not expensive, no problems with wi-fi.
I like Folk Hostel becouse it is in centre of lublin i can go to Old town by walk two min.
friendly and helpful staff
in the middle of the old town
clean and tidy.
Very good location, just at the old town. Nicely furnished apartment.
Convenience, close to the city and obliging and friendly staff.
friendly staff, very clean rooms and facilities, modern hostel.
meeting my needs - and no unnecessary luxury gadgets.
The situation, the staff, new furniture.
nice an clean.
Great location (3 minutes from the Old Town), value for money, very clean and quiet place.
Location was perfect. Comfortable beds. WIFI working.
very central, good value for money.
nice room.
center location, shower facility was quite good , and not so many people (not very crowded...) generally quite clean.
It was on the main street, really close to the centre.
its location was central.
Having only one day there! Also, there was an unpleasant 'drain' smell on the stairs leading to the apartment, which occasionally could be smelt in the bathroom, too.
It was hard to find the exact address, because it is above a mall
shopfront, but must be accessed from the street behind. And apart from a
bunch of noisy Germans around 9:30pm, who kept knocking on my door and
trying the handle, it was perfect.
The staff were not very knowledgeable re: Lublin. My room was very nice
but a reading light would have made it even nicer. The website should
mention that there is at least one bus that goes from the train station
to very near to the hostel.
nothing.
One of the showers was blocked, the socket not working in the room. In our room no wardrobe for clothes. And the most important no curtains on the windows, as is need it coz the room is overlooking in the main promenade street and opposite restaurant what cost less privacy.
not easy to find, the adress of the entry is different from the ufficial adress (at opposite side of the block).
had to park car not near hostel.
Car park which we booked was 5 min walk from the apartment.
The address on the book form is given as 23 Przedmiescie, the actual
address is ulice Zielona. I caught a taxi arriving late at night and was
not able to find the hotel. Please correct the address on the website as
no one likes to search for a hotel late at night.
The kitchen has not well equiped Sometimes too loudly.
there was one time when during the night there was some very loud truck unload on the near street.
No breakfast, no towels and no lockers.
Staff was very often changing and absolutely not talkative. The staff is doing everything in this Hostel - the same person is a receptionist and a cleaning lady at the same time - that's why none of the services is done perfectly. Could be one more bathroom with shower. Good value for the price, however next time I will probably try to find other hostel.
staff could be more communicative, but it seems to have some trouble with the english language.
noisy street.
Very noisily. You sleep among crowd.
My money on credit card is still blocked(( more than 2 weeks.
staff at reception.. they were fine, but one of staff was speaking basic English, and not very service oriented and more passive, but looks very young (almost teenager) so might need more service skills. this doesn't mean she was rude, but doesn't seem to be well trained in general while, other big cities in Poland such as warsaw, krakaw, I found staffs are more active and ready to help (almost like well trained hotel staff).
Staff was quite rude, they don't answer your questions before getting your money. There was no breakfest, not even coffee (90 PLN for one night!). Bathroom was smelly.
very noisy inside and outside the hostel, always wait in the morning for showers.
