Single bed extremely cosy with luxurious mattress topper for added comfort. Staff lovely, I didn't pay my bill initially and had to return to hotel to do so. Had a large room with amazing views of the mountains, water and ships. If you were disabled, the rooms too would have been easy to navigate, especially the bathroom.   Great staff. At check-in, Jasmine was awesome: friendly and knowledgeable. Moderately priced hotel. 5 minute walk from the bus stop and 10 minute walk to the hurtigruten terminal.   What a wonderful place. Gorgeous views, amazing room (with fjord view), great breakfast, all was excelent. One of my best experiences in Hotels in Norway. It is best if you have a car to get all the way up there, though. Or maybe catch the bus? Don't know. I even got to experience snow in the afternoon and clear sunny day the next morning.   It was a nice stay in ålesund hostel. For a small price you can have a kind and helpful service ( even when you get sunburn ;)), clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.
