  Excellent hotel in a great location on the river. Rooms were recently renovated and were lovely. We took 3 small children and the staff went out of their way to cater for us.   Perfect for passing through Trondheim on the train as the hotel was almost next door to the train station. Even being that close to the train station, it was still quite and quite comfortable, but spartan in room furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We got an extra room for free in stead, which was great:)

  The staff. I was having a problem with my mobile phone and the lady at reception (I wish I knew her name) was sensational. She went to a lot of effort and trouble to help me, and she was amazingly friendly as she did it. Excellent service! - Very clean room with new furniture. The cafeteria had a small garden. Very good breakfast.

  We loved room 541 with its panoramic view over Trondheim. We much appreciated being able to take up our room at 9.30 am. The breakfast is just outrageously "wicked". - I liked the location on the water and the modern design of the guest room and public spaces. The breakfast buffet was excellent.
